Winterfest Up Next At BIG O Speedway
Racing returns to the BIG O Speedway on Saturday, February 3 for Winterfest featuring seven divisions of racing at “America’s Hometown Speedway.”
The UMP Super Late Models highlight the day’s card, along with UMP Pro Late Models, Limited Modifieds, Factory Stocks, Eco Modifieds, JR Limiteds and Moonman Racing Crown Vics to round out the day’s action. Limited Modified ($600 to win), Factory Stocks ($600 to win) and Ecos ($400 to win) will all race for extra money during their respective feature races.
Winterfest is the first event at BIG O Speedway since the Freedom 100 back on January 13. Jim Moon (Late Models, Pro Late Models, Crown Vics), Chase Hatton (Limited Mods), Cody Baker (Factory Stocks), Bill Layne (Eco Mods) and Eli Olivarri (JR Limiteds) all picked up feature wins that afternoon. In total, 72 cars were on hand for the afternoon’s event.
Pit gates will open at 12:00pm on Saturday, with grandstand gates opening at 1:00 and racing beginning at 3:00. Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors 65+ and current/former military with ID, $8 for kids 3-10 years old, and free for kids two and under. Pit passes are $35. Tickets and pit passes can be purchased at the gate.
