36 YEARS AND COUNTING… April 6, 1985, 85 Speedway held its first race and there has been no looking back. Jimmy Allard and his dad broke ground in 1984 to build a dream and a passion to be shared with others. 85 Speedway has held itself with the test of time and through a few owners. The last 4 years the track has been revived with the same passion and renewing the dream, a new name, BIG O Speedway, evolved. Jimmy and his family run a local engine shop, but are still made sure they play a vital role at BIG O Speedway. We want to honor him and his family tonight for adding an America pastime to Ennis, Texas.
