Been 3 years since I have strapped in a racecar Went out and won my heat. Then started pole but slipped back to 3rd caution came out and helped me out with 3 to go. Got back up to 2nd tryed a slide job but couldn’t clear so finished 2nd…. not bad for a little rust. Not to mention I was also announcing as I was driving… yep did the play by play with the mic stuffed in my fire suit. The fans loved it. Always awesome racing at BIG O Speedway this weekend! Race weekend at BIG O Speedway with the Texas Outlaw Series started out with rain, mud and then a rainbow! After the first heat with some advice from UTV Race Shop and the help of our amazing race friends, we changed a few things on my secondary. We came in with a 2nd place win this weekend but also learned how important it is to remain focused and calm in stressful situations. We want to thank Ultimax Belts by Timken for my amazing belts, North DFW Trailers for my ride to and from the race track, Ruckus Powersports, LLC, Salvatore Pennetti for helping me get my car together this week.
